Pension
DAS offers all new starters (aged 18 - 60) a stakeholder pension scheme. Employees
need to either contribute 2.5% or 5% of their monthly pensionable salary and DAS will match this contribution.
Town Allowance
Staff at the Bristol office receive an annual town allowance of £796 (full time equivalent).
Luncheon Vouchers
Luncheon Vouchers to the value of £41 (full time equivalent) are paid to staff monthly.
Legal Insurance
All employees benefit from the staff legal expenses policy, which covers them
against the cost of pursuing and defending a variety of legal

Flexitime
Many departments operate flexitime, where staff can start between 8am-10am and
leave between 3:30pm-6:30pm. Flexitime can be built
up and taken off as flexi-holidays.
Holidays
The minimum annual holiday entitlement (full time equivalent) is 21 days, depending
on job type. Entitlement increases at the rate of 1 day
for every 3 years of service.
Eyecare Vouchers
All VDU users are entitled to an eye test voucher (£17.50) to be used at Eye Clinic opticians. If the Optician recommends glasses solely for VDU work, then a voucher for £49.50 will be issued to assist in the purchase of these corrective glasses.
Sports and Social
You will have the option of joining the DAS Sports and Social Club which organises
a varied programme of activities for members, their friends
and families. Free tickets are available to watch Bristol City Football Club as part of the company’s sponsorship arrangement with the team. Discounted tickets are also available to see Bristol City Rugby team play.
Office Environment
DAS have free-vending drinks machines on all floors, a rest room and showering
facilities.
On Fridays Bristol staff are permitted to dress casually in return for a monthly
donation of £1 to a nominated charity.
Training and Development
DAS have a culture of internal movement and progression. All vacancies are advertised
internally, so there are plenty of opportunities for
progression. Employees are encouraged and sponsored to achieve
professional qualifications.
Discounts
The YouAtWork website offers staff discounts on a variety of everyday products. A 35% discount is offered on private medical cover. Staff can receive independent mortgage advice from Clarke Roxburgh.
